Life of Paul Cézanne

Paul Cézanne was a french painter, he was born in Aix-en-Provence in the south of France on January 19, 1839. He went to school in Aix-en-Provence, where  a close friendship was formed, with novelist Emile Zola.
Paul Cézanne studied law from 1859 to 1861, but at that same time he attended drawing classes, against the rules of his father, he made up his mind that he wanted to paint. In 1861 joined Zola in Paris. But then in 1886 Emile Zola's publishes L'Oeuvre, Cézanne was deeply hurt by the resemblances to the main character, which was a failed artist. This leads to the end of his friendship with Zola. In the same year, Cézanne reveals the existence of his family to his parents and then marries Hortense. Later that year, Cézanne's father dies, leaving him a comfortable inheritence.

Finally, living as a solitary in Aix rather than alternating between the south and Paris, Cézanne moved into his late phase. Now he concentrated on a few basic subjects: still lifes, example; apples, statuary, and tablecloths.

In later years, Cézanne's health detriorated. On October 22 1906, Cézanne dies of pneumonia.

    Style Change

In 1870, at the age of thirty, Cézanne's style changed along with his habits. He meets his mistress (Hortense Fiquet) . The black and darks gradually changed to landscape subjects. The lanscape & still life objects were his subjects for many years after that.
In 1881, Cézanne's brother-in-law bought a house with the view on the Saint-Victoire mountain, then in 1886 Emile Zola's publishes L'Oeuvre which deeply hurt Cézanne because she wrote about him being a fail of a painter, and then later that year Cézannes father dies. The next few years, Cezanne becomes increasingly isolated from his family in Paris while he stays in Aix. Cutting himself off from the outer world.
